ABSTRACT CIPHER 1

Abstract Cipher 1 is an exquisite study of technique and color with just a hint of mark-making. A masterful composition, this work on paper uses layers of multiple colors to achieve a textural feel, while a sense of movement is created using a cascade effect of the texturing and layering. A tranquil color scheme in baby blue and dark denim is punctuated by snow-white dollops of color. The scene is anchored by a bone-white backdrop.
